We are AromaDiffusing.nl. A company with a great deal of experience and knowledge in the field of everything related to scents. Currently consisting of 7 experts, including technical and creative backgrounds. We are located in Breda and Roosendaal but at the moment we do not have a physical store (yet). Visits to our office are possible by appointment.

For years we have specialized in the immense effect that scent can have on the important aspects of (business) life. Over the years we have slowly come to realize that the influence of scent on countless aspects is wrongly underestimated. In our opinion this should change as soon as possible, and preferably today!

The whole story – about us:

AromaDiffusing was created out of my own irritation / dissatisfaction with the then established alternatives on the market that I myself also sold first. I (Emiel, founder of AromaDiffusing) started selling aroma diffusers and fragrance oil in 2019. These were simple, small models from China with fragrance oil from China and that all went quite well and the first successes were achieved in terms of sales. Until the first orders came in from customers and they started using them. The first complaint came in about the customer not smelling anything, the second complaint came in about the diffuser not doing anything, the third complaint came in about the diffuser being broken after 1 day and you guessed it, it kept coming.

The diffusers were of poor quality, the fragrance oil was not strong enough because it was also mixed with water and above all the diffusers were not even made for use with oil. After a while the diffuser even started to crumble due to the oil being affected. You can imagine that this caused some problems and dissatisfied customers. We of course solved this neatly and stopped selling those products. This was a shame but in the meantime I was provided with many educational lessons. One thing was clear in any case, the demand for the solution for a wonderful fragrance in the home was certainly there, the quality of the solution on the market was less.

Born with entrepreneurial blood, a person like me naturally gets very enthusiastic about such a situation. An optimal alternative must be put on the market!

I still remember the day that realization came, this was sparked by a Belgian entrepreneur who had submitted a customer message via the webshop of the old small diffusers. This entrepreneur wanted to provide his hall, where he was presenting, of 2000 square meters with wonderful aroma. As an entrepreneur, you cannot let a request like this pass you by and so the ball started rolling, with small diffusers from China this is of course not going to work! I started investigating and spent days looking for the right application of fragrance diffusion for this gentleman. I came across a new technology that had only just come onto the market: Cold nebulization. This technology would use pure fragrance oil and therefore without water, without heat and would last for months without refilling. This sounded very good and so everything was immediately put into motion.

With the necessary hurdles (such as the major covid outbreak which caused all physical businesses to close and therefore no one invested in scent distribution) it has ultimately been an incredibly beautiful ride to this day. I am writing this at the end of 2024 and after less than 1.5 years in full swing (long break due to covid and other projects) the counter currently stands at more than 20,000 customers in the Dutch and German market and more than 850 five-star reviews have already been given on TrustPilot and Google. There is now a strongly established brand where we fully focus on customer satisfaction as a priority and are continuously working on further developments such as new scents, new machines and expansions to physical stores.

It has also not been a one-man mission for some time now, but the team currently consists of 7 young, driven, smart minds and we give everything day in day out to let as many people as possible experience the ultimate experience of fragrance, combined with service on all levels of the highest level. That is what AromaDiffusing stands for.

As mentioned, underestimating the influence of scent should stop as soon as possible in our opinion. For companies: It has been proven that spreading aroma ensures increased customer satisfaction , it increases turnover and it ensures an optimal product experience . Not only for companies but also in daily life scent can mean a lot to every person in a positive way.

It is therefore our goal to make as many companies and people as possible in the Netherlands aware of what scent can mean for them. The ultimate goal is of course to let those positive influences manifest themselves throughout the world.
